As a student in our private pilot (single-engine) course, you'll learn the basics of pre-flight preparation, take-offs, landings, and airport operations. In addition, you'll be taught the in's and out's of the aircraft's cockpit navigation and communication equipment, along with approved safety and emergency procedures, basic flight maneuvers and night-time operations. Introductory instrument rating seminars are also offered in coordination with this course. You'll earn the hourly instrument navigation requirements in the air with dual flight instruction. At the end, you'll be fully prepared for the advanced instrument rating course. This advanced FAA certification course lasts three weeks, depending upon previous flying experience and will enable you to meet FAA Part 141 requirements while allowing you to master FAA and DOT practical testing standards.
