You'll be instructed on the aircraft's navigation systems, instruments and avionic equipment and you'll practice flying by instrument reference both on our on-site professional flight simulator and in the air.

In this 3-week long accelerated course, weather services, terrain mapping and collision avoidance systems will be discussed along with instrument departure procedures, airport maps and the use of low and high enroute altitude charts.

The instrument rating requires a minimum of 35 hours instrument flight hours.

We require a minimum of one (1) hour ground lesson for each flight lesson from the Jeppesen Instrument syllabus.
