To become a Commercial Pilot, you'll first master the private pilot certificate and instrument rating requirements. Then you'll study more advanced techniques while learning pre-flight preparations, airport operations, control-tower procedures, and traditional take-offs and landings. You'll conquer flight navigation procedures, slow-flight and stall recovery techniques, high-altitude operations, and post-flight procedures. In this eight-week course, we'll teach you about commercial aircraft instrumentation, commercial ground and flight techniques, airworthiness requirements and the national airspace system. Tips on dealing with weather hazards, flight planning challenges and collision avoidance will be taught. You'll realize the importance of situational awareness and the effects of spatial disorientation and hypoxia on a person. In coordination with the commercial pilot program, we offer IFR multi-engine land certifications to students wishing to advance further. This course is run by FAA approved instructors and candidates must be 18 years of age to participate. FAA Certificate
