STUDENT VISAS top

American Flying Academy is authorized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to issue you a form I-20 student visa to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. The following conditions must be met for issuing a form I-20: 

  • You must be 17 or older and be able to speak read and write English.

 

  • You must fill out the student enrollment/rental agreement.

 

  • Student must deposit funds for entire course prior to commencing.

 

  • A copy of your passport (valid for at least one year).

 

  • A non refundable immigration service fee for the amount of $600.00 USD paid to American Flying Academy. This fee covers proper preparation and filing of immigration documentation.

 

  • A $200.00 USD Students and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVIS) fee (I-901) must be paid directly to SEVIS by going online to https://www.fmjfee.com/i901fee/. 

 

  • You must go to your local US embassy to receive your visa

In addition, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires all non-US citizens pursuing a Pilot Certification to register at www.flightschoolcandidates.gov/wizard/static/html/wizard.html. Most applicants will fall under category 3 and will require paying a $130.00 fee directly to the TSA through their website.

 

VISAS DE ESTUDIANTES arriba

American Flying Academy tiene autorización para otorgar la forma I-20 para estudiantes no inmigrantes por el Servicio de Inmigración y Control de Aduanas de Estados Unidos, Departamento de Seguridad Nacional. La forma I-20 se otorgara al cumplir todos los siguientes requisitos:

  • Debe tener 17 aňos de edad o mayor y debe poder hablar leer ,y escribir inglés.
  • Debe llenar el formulario “enrollment/rental agreement form” y envarlo a la escuela.
  • Fondos monetarios para completar el curso deben estar depositados en la cuenta de American Flying Academy.
  • Fotocopia de un pasaporte que sea vigente por mínimo de un año o mas.
  • Deposito de servicios legales por $600.00 pagados a American Flying Academy. Esto cubre los gastos de preparación y radicación de documentos legales.
  • Pagar $200.00 USD directamente al al Students and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) (I-901) en https://www.fmjfee.com/i901fee/.
  • Para recibir su visa, debe ir a la embajada de los Estados Undos en su país con la forma I-20 que recibira de la Academia.

Adicionalmente, estudiantes extrangeros deben registrarse con el TSA (Transportation Security Administration) en https://www.fllightschoolcandidates.gov. La mayoría de los participantes caen bajo la categora 3 y tienen que pagar $130.00 directamente al TSA el costo de registracion.
