Pilot Certificates

Founded in 1994, The American Flying Academy has been certifying students, both young and old, for over a decade on ground and flight-training techniques. As a Pilot School, our academy is authorized to instruct and certify students on a wide range of topics to prepare them for pilot certification.

At the American Flying Academy, we employ over a dozen part-time and full-time flight instructors, along with in-house A & P mechanics, aircraft inspectors, and chief instructor. Our multi-lingual staff wholeheartedly welcomes both domestic and international students training for careers as pilots.

Our training facility at the American Flying Academy is located at the Aztec Jet Center/Sano Aviation FBO at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE). Our similarly outfitted fleet of blue and white aircraft includes Cessna 172s and Seminoles equipped with moving maps, autopilots and Bendix King GPS. Aircraft are available for both flight instruction and weekend and weekday rentals.
